Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) is so smart that he can say, “I did not run for office to be helping out a bunch of, you know, fat cat bankers on Wall Street.” with a straight face while his administration (a) buys preferred and common stock in Wall Street banks, (b) buys the corporate bonds of Wall Street banks, (c) buys non-performing loans from Wall Street banks, (d) loans a virtually limitless supply of money to Wall Street banks at near zero interest (less than 0.25%) and borrows it back from the same Wall Street banks while paying them more than 3.25% interest for the privilege. Talk about the “Audacity of Hope”!
